Superstition was born on a magnificent Friday the 13th morning. This is a beautiful male who you can almost “watch” grow, gaining close to (and sometimes exceeding) a pound a day. He is healthy, strong, and possesses a fabulous confident personality. His light brown lustrous, silky, tightly locked fleece covers his beautiful square frame. Fox Run Suri Alpacas is delighted to add this full Peruvian black female to our foundation herd. Mia is out of 4Peruvian Olajuwon, and has been bred to Bruxo's Peruvian Luxor, the 2006 AOBA White National Color Champion. Mia was Reserve Color Champion at the 2006 Great Midwestern Alpaca Festival in Madison, WI. Her sire Olajuwon is a producer of silver/grey and appaloosa offspring with high luster and outstanding fiber qualities. His genetics are rare compared to other herdsires from the 1996 Peruvian importation. Her dam, Karmel Kandy, out of 4Peruvian Liberator and 4Peruvian Fancy Free, consistently produces show winners. Mia has deep, rich color and outstanding fiber characteristics, 21.5 microns at 22 months of age! Mia's wonderful fleece qualities combined with those of Luxor will produce a phenomenal 08 cria!

If you're looking for a proven, solid, foundation female, Agulara is the girl for you!

Agulara is a beautiful, upright female with correct conformation and balance, a typey head with a lovely bonnet, great bone and substance, and soft independently locked lustrous fleece.

Although white, she comes from two colored parents, and has black toe nails and skin. She has produced ONLY colored suri offspring. Having come from a large breeding farm, she is not halter broken, but she does stand calmly for routine procedures and wormings. She is an easy animal to be around, and is just a lovely, solid girl in every respect.

"Divi" is a delightfully precocious, full Peruvian white female. Her fleece exhibits a feather-soft handle and beautiful luster. Her conformation, substance and coverage are exceptional, and she possesses the wedge shaped "typey" bearded suri head and dense bonnet so sought after in today's suri market. Divinity's dam is our own Peruvian Mindy May, and her sire is the magnificent pinto herdsire Masked Bandit Jax. This impressive, multiple blue ribbon winning herdsire has stamped size, attitude, density, coverage and exceptional conformation on his daughter Divinity.

Divinity has securely established herself as a stellar foundation female. Her first cria was a True Black male,  Fox Run’s Peruvian Draco,  purchased by Mike and Stephanie Barnhart of The Alpaca Trading Company as a yearling. Divinity’s second cria,  a lovely ˝ accoyo female named Sakari was acquired by Patti Anderson of Wild Rose Suri Ranch as a juvenile and is currently producing for Patti!

Shira is a stunning “bright white” female who comes from an award winning background. Her dam, WRSR Carmel Sundae brings to Fox Run spectacular accoyo genetics, and phenomenal fleece characteristics. Shown at the most prestigious shows in the United States, Carmel Sundae was consistently recognized and placed at the top by judges. Shira’s sire is WRSR Kilimanjaro. He is a supremely lustrous Baron son. He too had a very impressive show career before a variety of judges with consistent winnings and placements.

This Peruvian medium fawn maiden displays gorgeous locks, luster, and coverage. Her straight body, correct proportions, and ideal, typey head all contribute to her wonderful eye-appeal.  Her sire, Dune, a descendent of Accoyo Uribe, has earned recognition as one of the nation's top herdsires with his spectacular, colored offspring.  Her dam is Starfire's Artemis.  Amber Rose's siblings have been a tremendous presence in the show ring over the last few years, earning blue ribbon and championship honors at the most competitive shows. We are delighted to add this beautiful fawn girl to our program!

Fox Run is thrilled to announce the addition of this beautiful cria to our herd. Thank you to Patti and Alan Anderson of Wild Rose Suri Ranch for making this outstanding female available to us! Rhapsody is a stunning combination of spectacular correct balanced conformation, a gorgeous head and beard, and incredibly lustrous fiber that displays independent locks to the skin. Her long, straight legs are covered in fleece right down to her toes.

Rhapsody comes from an award winning background. Her dam Angelinn, a beautiful Reserve Champion fawn female is a foundation dam at the award winning Wild Rose Suri Ranch in Maryland. Angelinn is only one of a handful of Rufino daughters and has produced outstanding crias from white to grey. Rhapsody’s sire, WRSR Accoyo Razor, an Accoyo Baccarat son, is yet another outstanding male bred at Wild Rose Suri Ranch who began his show career by being awarded a Reserve Color Championship at the 2001 MaPaca Jubilee at only 6 months and 2 days of age! He was awarded a Color Championship against very tough competition at the 2002 Kentucky Classic, and was again awarded a Color Championship at the 2002 MaPaca Jubilee. Razor is a 3/4 Accoyo light fawn male who proudly exhibits a small muzzle on his very typey head, a straight topline, and substantial bone. His conformation is only topped by his very fine fiber of 20.4 microns, tight lock structure to the skin, and blinding luster. He has tremendous density, shearing 10.1 lb. with 11.3 months growth, and then shearing 10.9 lb. annual fleece weight in 2005! The combination of genetics from Angelinn and Razor has produced wonderful offspring in the past; namely WRSR Razor’s Peruvian Infinity who recently was awarded a 1st place at the 2006 AOBA National Conference Halter Show (showing in his 2nd fleece) and a 1st place at the 2006 AFCNA National Fleece Show.

Laguna is a sensational, Full Peruvian female with tight, consistent individual locks to the skin, outstanding coverage, beautiful luster and superior fineness. In addition to her wonderful fleece characteristics, this young female has perfect conformation…. the upright, solid frame that is exactly what breeders look for in a true “foundation female”.

Laguna debuted in the show ring at the 2006 AAA Futurity as the youngest animal in the bay black class, and promptly walked away with the Blue Ribbon! In her second show, the Level V GWAS, she finished a proud 2nd to the 06 Futurity Color Champion. As if that weren't enough, she brings a great genetic package to the table! Lots of wonderful color and show winning animals in this spunky little girl's pedigree.

Dynasti is a spectacular 1/2 accoyo female. Granddaughter of the magnificent Mahogany Prince (and daughter to Buggati of PVA), this beautiful girl displays deep rich fawn color, tremendous coverage, excellent bone and beautiful presence all coupled with super high luster and independent tightly locked fleece. In the words of Judge Jude Anderson, this fabulous female is the "total package". Not only has Dynasti been recognized as a Color Champion in the halter classes, her fleece was awarded a Color Championship at the 2006 AOBA National Conference!

Dynasti’s first breeding was to Modello Especial, owned by Dr. Toni Cotton. Modello is a beautiful black Full Peruvian Futurity and AOBA winning herdsire. His fleece has also consistently won at the most prestigious fleece shows in the country including a blue ribbon at the 2006 AOBA National Conference Fleece show.

Fox Run's Peruvian Cassini is a dark fawn full Peruvian daughter of 2003/2004/2005/2006 Herdsire of the Year DDF Peruvian MacGyver and our own Peruvian Mindy May. Cassini demonstrates the trademark MacGyver head (complete with beard), a multitude of greasy, individual locks, and the beautiful luster, density and coverage that MacGyver offspring are known for. She shows lovely correct conformation, substance and a confident presence. Cassini’s quality has been recognized consistently throughout her show career as a juvenile (1st SW Regional Alpaca Show, Reserve Color Champion Great Western Alpaca Show, and 3rd  Place 2005 AOBA) .

 

 


Peruvian Mindy May #1271 - ARI # 183446

Mindy is the first alpaca we ever purchased, and we've been delighted with her from day one! Mindy May is a full Peruvian female who cherishes her role as Fox Run herd matriarch. She oversees all alpaca related activities at Fox Run with a firm, calm and steady demeanor. She is the first to greet us with a gentle "hummmm" upon our entry to the barn, and is also the first to sound the alarm should an unwelcome four legged visitor have the bad judgment to pass across her line of sight.

Mindy is a superior mother who gets pregnant easily, births easily, produces volumes of milk high in IgG, and provides attentive supervision and care to her cria. Mindy has wonderful overall fiber coverage, (including leg and head fleece) which still exhibits independent lock and lovely luster even after years of annual shearing. Mindy is beige, but when bred to colored herdsires often produces deep rich color.

Jezebel is a Full Peruvian true black female with solid conformation, a wonderful typey head, and tremendously dense, ropey, high luster defined locks. Shown at the top shows in the country, Jezebel has always been at or near the top. This is a fabulous girl with outstanding genetics who will produce dark high end animals for years to come.
