We are Don and Carla Llewellyn, owners of Fox Run Suri Alpacas. We breed award winning suri alpacas in the spectacular Wasatch Mountains of Utah near Park City.

Fox Run Ranch was established in 2001. Since that time, Carla has left a career in government to be at Fox Run Ranch and to care for our beautiful suris full time. It's a busy and incredibly rewarding life!

After 25 years in law enforcement, Don has retired from the Salt Lake City Police Department where he was an Assistant Police Chief to spend his time caring for and showing alpacas as well as working in a newly acquired unrelated business. Never a dull moment for him either!

We are located 10 minutes east of Park City Utah, just off Interstate 80 a short 35 minutes from Salt Lake City. At 6,000 ft. above sea level, this location has proven to be the perfect place to breed and raise extraordinary suri alpacas.

Fox Run Alpacas offers a proven breeding program utilizing a healthy, temperamentally well adjusted and reproductively sound core group of top quality, award winning foundation females. These females exhibit beautiful, lustrous suri fleeces in a variety of colors and multi-colors, and are bred to some of the most well known and show-winning suri herdsires in the country.

Our breeding program has resulted in beautiful, conformationally correct animals with excellent temperaments who are not only healthy producers of superior suri fleeces, but who are recognized and appreciated in the show ring as well.

At Fox Run Suri Alpacas we are committed to raising the finest quality suri alpacas, sharing our knowledge and experiences with others, and providing those new to the industry with the tools they need to succeed. We believe that this level of commitment is fundamental to the health of the American alpaca industry as a whole, and to the health and well-being of these wonderful animals whom we have taken under our care.

We are proud to be members of the Alpaca Registry (ARI), the Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association (AOBA), the Suri Network, the AOBA Show Division, and the Intermountain West Alpaca Association (IMpaca!). All animals bred at Fox Run are registered with the Alpaca Registry (ARI), and unless otherwise noted, all have full Peruvian pedigrees. Fox Run Alpacas supports the philosophy of breeding only Suri to Suri.
